Very similar to our epoxy systems, polyurethane floor comes in three systems. Solidkote UVC is the first. And is a twin pack polyurethane coating. Features include non-chalking with high gloss. The polyurethane floors coating has excellent resistance to weathering while displaying great flexibility. It has resistance to high abrasion, acid, alkali and solvents. It bonds well to a variety of substrates such as concrete, metal, wood, tiles and natural stone. Moreover, its is available in pigmented, clear gloss and clear matt.
It is suitable for interior and exterior use. Applications include concrete floors and structural steel. Chemical plants as well. As well as food factories and plating facilities. Laboratories can also benefit. Exterior tanks and marine applications above the water-line can also use it. It has good colour and gloss retention. And is also UV stable. It therefore does not yellow. It has a fast installation time and good scratch resistance. See Technical Finishes for more data on polyurethane floor

Polyurethane floor: Polyscreed MD
Our second system is heavy duty. It is a flow applied topping and is based on a three part liquid polyurethane resin. It uses antimicrobial silver ion protection to prevent bacteria. It’s non-slip matt finish is slip resistant and uniform in colour. In addition, it’s resistance to abrasion and chemicals makes it a clear favorite. Plus, it resists impact and thermal shock. Installation is fast thereby saving you time.
All this results in a easily maintained, seamless floor which is both heat resistant and solvent free. This makes it environmentally friendly too
Polyscreed RT
Our third polyurethane floor system is heavy duty 6 – 8mm. Applied with a heavy duty trowel, it is a three part liquid polyurethane resin. It also uses antimicrobial silver ion protection. This floor is slightly textured, slip resistant and uniform in colour. Like our second system, it is designed for resistance to abrasion and chemicals. And will also resist impact and thermal shock.
The applications include chemical processing plants. And wet or dry process areas. Breweries and Food processing plants as well as Freezers & Kitchens. Packaging plants and HACCP environments. Non-odour and non-tainting to food articles. Engineering & fabrication workshops. Laboratories
